Position Overview: We are seeking qualified, experienced adjunct faculty to teach online, Master’s-level courses in finance and economics related topics related to trading. Ideal candidates will combine strong academic credentials (PhD required) with real-world trading experience, bringing applied insight to advanced theoretical concepts. Faculty will be responsible for delivering rigorous, engaging instruction on the various aspects of trading to graduate students in a fully online learning environment.

This is a hands-on, student-focused role for faculty who enjoy supporting intermediate level traders on their trading journey. We’re looking for someone who’s excited about helping traders, shaping the voice of a new trading education institution and growing a thoughtful, ambitious community of traders. If that sounds like you, we’d love to have you apply for this role. 

Key Responsibilities

·      Design course content and develop a syllabus

·      Teach Master’s-level courses in trading related fields

·      Deliver course content in an online format (lectures, discussions, assessments)

·      Facilitate meaningful academic discussions and applied learning experiences

·      Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback

·      Maintain academic rigor and align instruction with program learning outcomes

·      Hold virtual office hours or student support sessions as required

·      Collaborate with academic leadership to ensure course quality and consistency

Qualifications & Experience

Required

·      PhD in Finance, Economics, or a related field

·      Professional experience as a trader (e.g., retail trading, asset management, investment banking, hedge funds, commodities, derivatives, or related areas)

·      Prior experience teaching Master’s-level courses 

·      Demonstrated ability to explain complex financial and economic concepts clearly

·      Strong written and verbal communication skills

·      Comfort teaching in an online learning environment

Preferred (nice to have)

·      Experience teaching fully online or hybrid graduate courses

·      Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle & Notion)

·      Experience integrating real-world market examples into academic coursework

·      Prior curriculum development or course design experience

Additional Information

·      Courses are offered on a contract / per-course basis

·      Instruction is in English, synchronous sessions are held in the PM European time / AM US time
