Distinkt is a start-up created in 2022 that creates irreplicable printed solutions for anti-counterfeiting and authentication applications. Our team consists of PhDs and MBAs from top European institutions, market leaders in their area of expertise. We participated in the Berkeley SkyDeck Accelerator in 2024 and have recently closed a pre-seed financing round led by two large venture capital firms in London and Madrid. Role Description

This is a full-time Chemist for Product Development role located on-site in Greater Barcelona Metropolitan Area. The Product Developer will be responsible for conducting research and product optimization, performing laboratory tests, and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and Master's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Nanotechnology or related field
• Laboratory skills and familiarity with laboratory equipment and techniques
• Strong analytical skills and ability to conduct research
• Data analysis skills and experience with data analysis software
• Fluent written and spoken English is a must
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with organic chemistry, emulsions, microencapsulation, photoactive materials or specialty inks is a plus
• Spanish, French, German or Japanese are a plus

EMPLOYMENT TYPE

Full-time. The candidate will report to our Chief Technology Officer.
