Role Overview


The Sales Manager will be responsible for implementing sales plans, managing relationships with key accounts, coordinating the sales support team, and ensuring exceptional service to clients and partners. You will collaborate closely with the Senior Sales Leader and other internal teams to deliver revenue targets and strengthen AMI’s presence in the wine sector of the travel retail market.


Key Responsibilities

·        Sales Execution – Implement sales strategies provided by leadership to achieve and exceed targets.


·        Account Management – Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and maximizing sales opportunities.


·        Team Coordination – Oversee daily activities of the sales support function, ensuring smooth operations and timely deliverables.


·        Business Development Support – Identify and pursue opportunities within existing accounts and support prospecting efforts in new markets.


·        Reporting & Analysis – Track sales performance, prepare regular reports, and provide insights to the senior sales leader.


·        Trade Marketing Coordination – Partner with marketing to organize product launches, trade shows, and promotional activities.


·        Operational Support – Oversee sample preparation, international shipments, and other logistical elements critical to sales operations.


·        Market Insight Gathering – Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform leadership’s strategic decisions.


Qualifications & Experience

·        Proven experience in sales, ideally in the wine, beverage, or luxury goods sector.

·        Strong account management skills with the ability to nurture long-term partnerships.

·        WSET Level 3 or higher

·        Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

·        Knowledge of travel industry a plus

·        Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and find effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction

·        Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

·        Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.

·        Willingness to travel as needed.
