In your role as a software engineer, you will be integral to iptiQ´s mission, working on critical projects that align with our strategic needs. You´ll have the flexibility to move between teams and projects, growing with our dynamic industry and contributing to an ecosystem that´s constantly evolving. We value versatility and leadership, and we rely on our engineers to be proactive and enthusiastic in tackling new challenges across the tech spectrum. What´s more, you will be working in a hybrid setup (50:50), perfectly balancing work from home and the office premises.
Our Technology Stack
Our cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS platform runs on AWS. We use Kotlin, Java, SpringBoot, Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL on the backend, and ReactJS and TypeScript on the frontend. Our continuous delivery pipeline leverages GitLab. We are using Prometheus, ElasticSearch, Kibana and Grafana as our logging and monitoring stack.

You will
- Participate in designing and developing new features and products that align with user needs and business goals across multiple domain teams and the whole platform.
- Identify, plan and lead technical initiatives to improve the platform as a whole
- Lead the implementation of critical parts within a domain team
- Mentor junior team members write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Work closely with team members, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to ensure a cohesive development process and product outcome.
About you
- Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equicalent is a must

- Demonstrated track record of proficiency in several elements of our technology stack (Kotlin/Java, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, Apache, Kafka, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, React and TypeScript) is expected.
- Be able to prove use of modern architectural patterns (DDD, microservices, CQRS, event sourcing, hexagonal architecture and/or similar)
- Demonstrated track record of leading mission critical parts of a (large) software systems

For Spain the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 60,000] and [EUR 100,000] per year (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
• the applicant´s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
